Description Mechanical/Welding QC Inspector:-
The Mechanical/Welding QC Inspector will spend much of the time at the third-party manufacturing site to ensure QC inspection of all welds and fabrication.
Duties of Mechanical/Welding QC Inspector:-
· Providing provisions for the use of checklists, process sheets, passengers and drawings.
· Make sure it is present when inspections are needed. This includes internal areas as well as facilities for suppliers.Be able to travel continuously between and also work from different locations of NOV and suppliers as needed.
Determination of detention points required for inspections and tests to be performed.The authority to accept, reject and put on hold any item or transaction if compliance with the design, specifications, contract and / or purchase order is not achieved.
Verification of configured and / or adapted operations.
Inspection during the process of all preparations / Metal Cutting , welding workshop / machine shop and assembly operations
Visual and dimensional inspection of all welds before explosion, paint, heat treatment, etc.
100% final inspection.
Review all parts and / or equipment, if applicable, before shipment.
Verification and acceptance of MTRs. Work to complete any customer-requested documentation, purchase order, or specifications.
Perform NDE and / or dimensional inspection as required.
Knows and maintains PQRs (procedure qualification record), WPSs (Welding Procedure Specification) and WPQs (Welding Performance Qualification).
Know and maintain calibration and calibration records of tools and equipment.
Maintaining records as described in the QA Procedure Manual.
Maintain welder continuity.
Create, issue, and track NCR (Non-Compliance Report) and RCA(Request for Corrective Action) while assisting with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Observe and support all company rules and policies.
Must follow and implement all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices in accordance with company policy requirements; report any activities that could harm safety and / or loss of productivity; report any injury when they occur.

Qualifications:-
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum experience of five (5) years in quality control, welding and manufacturing inspection.
Good verbal and written communication skills, must be able to read, write and
Connoisseur of written and spoken English.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good interpersonal skills.
