SPIE Oil & Gas Services is urgently seeking experienced Panel Operators for specialized refinery units in Malaysia. Candidates with strong DCS operations and start-up experience are highly preferred.

📍 Location: Malaysia

📌 OPEN POSITIONS

🛢️ 1. Panel Operator – MTBE Unit

✔ Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE) Unit Operations
✔ Start-up operation experience in MTBE required
✔ Strong preference for DCS operation experience in refinery environments

🛢️ 2. Panel Operator – Butadiene Unit (BDU)

✔ Butadiene Unit (BDU) Operations
✔ Start-up operation experience in BDU required
✔ Strong preference for DCS operation experience in refinery environments

🎯 REQUIREMENTS

✔ Proven experience in Refinery Panel / Control Room Operations
✔ Strong DCS (Distributed Control System) knowledge
✔ Hands-on experience in start-up and commissioning operations
✔ Background in petrochemical or refinery units preferred
✔ Ability to manage critical process parameters and emergency response situations

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🎛️ CONTROL ROOM OPERATIONS

✔ Monitor and control refinery unit operations via DCS
✔ Ensure safe and efficient plant start-up and shutdown
✔ Maintain process stability and optimize unit performance

🛢️ PROCESS SAFETY & SUPPORT

✔ Ensure compliance with operational safety procedures
✔ Respond to process upsets and emergencies
✔ Coordinate with field operators and engineering teams
